We remember postman as someone who brings letters to our homes. Postman brings smile to the faces of many a people as they also bring money orders. They don a khaki dress and work on sunny days to deliver happiness.
But few would know that the uniform had changed to light blue shirt and dark blue trousers in 2004 to give a corporate feel to the department but on the demands by the postmen the department had to revert to the previous khaki dress with the new India Post logo.
